While there’s so much to love in Midtown Ala Moana, we’re sharing some of our favorite activities and businesses that will spark the flame on any date night.

Air Park Karaoke and Lounge

Hit a high note with an evening at Midtown Ala Moana’s favorite karaoke lounge! At Air Park Karaoke and Lounge in the center of Midtown Ala Moana, you can sing your way through the night while sipping on cocktails and picking on small plates from Ichiriki. Whether you’re reserving an intimate room for two or decide to make it a group date, Air Park Karaoke and Lounge will have you harmonizing in no time.

MW Restaurant

Serving fresh, farm-to-table dishes in the heart of Midtown Ala Moana, MW Restaurant is transforming favorite island dishes into culinary masterpieces, mixed with a little Asian flair. Make any night a date night at MW Restaurant and indulge in everything from their five-course menu or the chefs’ omakase tasting menu but save room for dessert because the tropical fruit creamsicle brulee will melt your heart!

Shokudo Japanese Restaurant & Bar

Grab a table for two at Shokudo Japanese Restaurant & Bar and fill your stomach—and hearts—with sushi, sake and sweet desserts! A favorite dining spot for many Midtown Ala Moana residents, this restaurant adds a tasty twist to traditional Japanese cuisine with popular menu choices like the mochi cheese gratin and the green tea honey toast. Open late, Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., Shokudo Japanese Restaurant & Bar is the perfect place to start—or end—your night out on the town.

Stage Restaurant

Stage Restaurant sets the backdrop for an unforgettable evening of wining and dining with your special someone. Showcasing world-class cuisine blended with local comfort food, Stage Restaurant will capture your heart with Asian-American dishes like the duck ala ‘lilikoi and the Kauai shrimp garlic scampi. For a perfect date night, start the show sampling different glasses of your favorite vino at Amuse Wine Bar then end the evening with a ‘grand finale’ dessert like the mouthwatering Kona coffee flan or the republica del cocoa souffle.

Lucky Strike Social

Don’t strike out on date night. Social dates are fun too and at Lucky Strike Social at Ala Moana Center everyone will have a ball! Here, you and yours can sip a few drinks fresh from the tap, roll on over to the bowling lanes, take part in some friendly competition at their arcade or share some of your favorite gastropub snacks under one roof. There’s no curfew to this date night, Lucky Strike Social is open late from Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Vintage Cave Cafe

Inspired by the architecture of the Renaissance, Vintage Cave Cafe sets the mood for a romantic meal any day of the week. Tucked away in Ala Moana Center on the street level, Vintage Cave Cafe offers three ‘speciale’ menus to choose from including four-course, five-course and six-course options. As intricate as the paintings on their walls, this specialty cafe delivers an Italian dining experience that will elevate any evening.
