It’s one of the most magical times of the year in Midtown Ala Moana. The holiday season means twinkle lights glittering on every block and the sound of Christmas music drifting through the air. Whether you’re lacing up your skates for a quick twirl around the skating rink at Hawaii Convention Center or ending the year with a bang with one of the island’s largest fireworks displays… you can enjoy all that is merry and bright right here in Midtown. Here are a few of our favorite Midtown holiday activities.
YogurStory: Dishing up enchanting brunch and dinner options, YogurStory is writing its own tale with novel options including their signature ube pancake with a fountain drink ($14.95) as well as a special “couple’s menu” for two, featuring their Organic Arugula and Kale Salad, Escargot, a 20 oz USDA Choice Ribeye Steak, and Scallop Linguine all for $75!
Kickin Kajun: Just for Restaurant Week Hawaii, Kickin Kajun is punching up their popular Cajun-style seafood boils. All you’ll see is seafood, as you indulge in their special three course menu which includes the choice of their Crab Wonton or Coconut Shrimp to start Snow Crab, or a Whole Live Lobster and finishing off with their Fried Oreo with Vanilla Ice Cream.
Menya Le Nood: Slurp through oodles of noodles with one of Hawaii’s most popular ramen joints located in Midtown Ala Moana. During Restaurant Week Hawaii, Menya Le Nood will be serving a special Tomato Tsukemen — a popular tsukemen style dish with a rich tomato flavored broth, topped with juicy kakuni (pork belly), bamboo shoots, green onion and nori.
