Relay For Life

July 20 2019

Lace up your tennis shoes and hit the pavement in a Relay for Life to benefit American Cancer Society. All funds raised going to help cancer patients gain resources such as rides to chemo and places to stay near hospitals. This year’s event takes place at Magic Island from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. For more information or to sign up click here.

Comic Con Honolulu

August 2-4 2019

Costumes, comics and creatives… oh my! Slip into your favorite costume and head down to Comic Con Honolulu at the Hawaii Convention Center to check out their wide selection of fan panels, industry guests, licensed merchandise dealers and more. Don’t forget to pack your camera to snap a selfie (or two) with some of your favorite movie characters dressed to the nines.

Shingon Shu Hawaii Bon Dance

August 9-10 2019

Dance and eat your way through the crowd of the Shingon Shu Hawaii’s Bon Dance, August 8-9, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Celebrate with the sounds of the taiko drums and live music or enjoy delicious traditional foods like fresh pounded mochi, fried andagi, saimin, shave ice and more.

37th Okinawan Festival

The 37th Annual Okinawan Festival returns to Midtown Ala Moana from August 31 to September 1, 2019.
